A familiar-looking picture by Roscoe, from 2001. I like that it has two different copyright logos on it but no reference to Zabel’s photograph. I mean, to be fair, Roscoe has changed out her nipple rings from barbells to smooth-segments. And her nylons are now fishnet. But there is still a subtle similarity.

A Zabel photograph from O magazine, back in 2000. Two years later, Brockmeyer (who published O magazine,sued Oprah Winfrey for copyright infringement, since she was also publishing an O magazine. The case got scuttled: the judge said something like: “there is no content in either of these magazines which could conceivably appear in the other one.”
