Scooby Doo (born 1969) is something of an American institution.  Each of the characters has been given lots of bonus connotations in pop culture, including their famous associations with the five colleges (Daphne is Mt. Holyoke, Velma is Smith, etc.). Velma is usually given the sexy-librarian-domme tag, although to truly fit the sterotype, she would need Daphne’s hair (put up in a bun, to be shaken loose in slow motion as she removes her glasses and picks up her riding crop.)
