And I think that’s it for now on the virginity front, though I feel like I’ve given virgin sacrifices short change. Also, I don’t think I’ve found a really classic virgin sacrifice, the trope without any extra bells and whistles. Anyone got any images that fit the bill?

This graph, which has been fairly widely circulated (along with considerable debate about it’s legitimacy) is from the Wellesley/MIT student paper Counterpoint. The original article is no longer online, so it’s hard to say how scientific it was, but everything I can gather suggests that it was at least based on an actual survey. For me, the points of verisimilitude are the relatively shallow slope of the curve, the fact that “undecided” was included as a major, and the duplications of 83% (10 in 12) and 50%.
Also, the order makes sense to me, but YMMV.
This is 13 minutes long and it’s only funny enough to be worth maybe 3 minutes, but that’s still pretty funny.
Sex ed, H.P. Lovecraft style. What was your sex ed class like?

Like most tortures, the basic concept is very simple: it hurts to straddle a thin or pointy surface. Right? Even a piece of couple pieces of lumber, as in this picture, are clearly very uncomfortable to sit on.
Two more iconic soft-media scenes, from the turn of the century. The one on the right is a schoolgirl fantasy, although it’s a bit hard to tell. It’s amazing how similar in composition they are to Monnet’s piece: in fact, a huge amount of 19th-century BDSM porn follows this basic layout.
For me, these are much more interesting pictures, though, and I’m sure it’s because of my assistance kink.
(Tagged with censorship, BTW, because of the trope of writing naughtiness in Latin, so people without an expensive education (i.e. women and the working class), would, in principle, think that there was nothing noteworthy about such images. Ummmm.)
