Yet more bound male goodness from the Volsungasaga, although I don’t remember this scene, actually.

Note the pose…

This is by Ben Newman. It’s another fairy-tale scene (the three little pigs), this time involving reverse bestialization. Uh. Anthropomorphization.
Fuck that’s hot.

The Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale seems to be especially erotically provocative. (Somewhere back a million years ago, Little Girl did a whole series on it. Here’s the best link to use.). LRRH combines the lost-in-the-woods motif with vore and a nicely ritualized horror-movie dialogue. The modern ending adds in the Jonah fallacy: grandma is just fine inside the wolf’s belly.
In artwork, there is usual a bestiality theme as well. I’m partial to versions like this, where LRRH is the domme, and the wolf is her bitch. But the other way around is more common.
O god, look at that spider…

Ok, so….
The bound-alone-in-the-wilderness-at-night thing always suggests a monster / animal sacrifice story to me. After all, her human captors have left. She’s alone waiting for….something else.

Cthulhu cultists. Technically, I suppose Cthulhu doesn’t much care if his sacrificial victims are virgins or not. But I like this picture ‘cause I think it’s a boy tied to the stake. And, y’know, Cthulhu.
Milton Caniff’s “Dragon Lady” from Terry and The Pirates was probably one of the first dominatrix-themed women in American popular culture. Initially a one-dimensional pirate / criminal boss, she quickly proved too sexy to be a minor villain, and became a complex recurring character throughout the comic.
This watercolor is from 1939.

Beatrix Potter, 1907
And now, I’m committing to posting ten or twelve images that I just happen to like. No themes. This one was sent to me by Linaria, who writes:
I am fairly confident my love of bondage originated with Beatrix Potter. Poor Tom Kitten.
If you haven’t read / don’t remember the story, he’s about to be cooked and eaten by the rats…
And here’s Ballivet’s Wanda again.
Enough Wandas already.
I think this 111 posts: I’m a third of the way done. Whew.
